Королевский технологический институт (Kungliga Tekniska h?gskolan, KTH) — университет, который оспаривает у Технологического университета Хельсинки (ТКК) звание крупнейшего технического ВУЗа в Скандинавии и является одним из ведущих технических университетов Европы.
Основан в 1827 году как шведский Teknologiska institutet, в 1877 году получил своё нынешнее название. После войны в институте начались исследования в области ядерной физики, в 1954 году был запущен первый шведский реактор, проработавший до 1970 года.
Королевский технологический институт — самый развитый технологический университет в Швеции. Возможности приема студентов за пределами программ обмена с другими ВУЗами Европы ограничены, главным образом из-за сложностей с проживанием. Студенты, имеющие степень Бакалавра естественных наук или эквивалентом могут подавать вступительные документы на магистерские программы, преподающиеся на английском языке.

Условия поступления: уровень знания английского не ниже: TOEFL test score of a minimum of 550, 213 in the computer-based test, 79 in the internetbased test (TOEFL code: 9520), or an IELTS score of at least 6.0, no band lower than 5.0.
